We've done it! A full year of planning and we are now living on the road, in our tiny home, traveling the entire United States. Does this mean we no longer photograph? HECK NO! It's what we do! It's our passion. Our hope is that wedding photography will take us all over the entire United States. It was time to break out of Southern California. Don't worry, it's our home and we adore it. We will be back several times photographing our new favorite clients. Yet, we are open to new ventures, locations, venues and meeting new people. So, please share us! No longer with your friends in Southern California, friends across the United States! Washington, Oregon, Mississippi, Colorado, Hawaii (yes we know we cannot drive our trailer there). Anywhere and everywhere. You can also follow our adventures at www.ourlivelytribe.com. We can't wait to share new images with you all and meet you if we have yet to.
"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have." -Bob Marley.
I have always admired the strength in women. Having had to stand up and find strength from within in my own life, I know that every woman has it in them. Travis was given the opportunity to capture the time in this woman's life when her strength has shined. We have photographed Christina and her family several times over the last few years. When we found out Christina was diagnosed with lymphoma a few month ago, our hearts broke for her and her family, knowing they would face a time when they too would make a choice to choose strength. While following her chemo treatments, Christina has shown nothing but strength. Her love and pride for her family has never wavered. She shares her life and she continues on, continues living and continues fighting. When we were given the opportunity to photograph this moment in her life, we were beyond humbled. Capturing this moment in her life is not to remember the hard parts about it, but for her and her family to one day look back and remember a time when they chose strength. To remember how Christina glowed and loved and was given love in return by her amazing boys amiss the scary parts that come along with fighting cancer. Christina, we continue to pray and send you strength. You are the epitome of strength in a woman and we were honored to capture that for you. -Erin
